2010 Grapevine Regatta

Report by Scott Lindley, Team Blue Coach

This weekend's Grapevine Regatta was a great success for Team Blue Texas!   The sailing conditions were extremly light and shifty. The race in condions  did not exceed 4 knots but they however managed to get in 6 races. It was really tough on the big kids and sweet for the light ones. The conditions tested everyones concentration levels to the maximum.  The courses were very short so starts and light air speed were hugely important to get to the first velocity which lead to success. Team Blue sailed great and were very fast in very light conditions.
