NOR T-10 GP MAINSAIL
An all purpose design with the draft well forward and clean straight exits.

To help increase durability and smoothness in the head and the clew, we have built the upper and lower sections of the T-10 out of Nordac 6.5 ounce Olympic fabric. This fabric is virtually the same weight as the 6.6 but is coated with North's Olympic Finish which helps to lock in the designed shape and increase the durability.

Again, The North T-10 GP main is powerful but with the draft well forward and the leech straight and open. It is a very fast sail. In critical conditions to steer and trim, it provides the power the boat needs in light to medium winds.

The open leech also makes it easy to depower in a breeze.

Mainsails include:

  • Sail Numbers
  • T-10 insignia
  • Sail Bag

" We raced the sail for the first time last night to good effect. First to finish and first corrected. 5 knots with some puffs to 8 on very flat water. The sail is very controllable and we were able to shift gears easier than an Indy car. I also retuned the mast according to the guide, but I don't think there was enough breeze to see big changes there. It was pretty close to the guide specs before I started. Thanks for the additional tips on the rig."

NOR BIG BOY JIB
The fullest of all our jibs. Ideal for extreme light and lumpy conditions.

A fuller, more powerful version of our proven AP Kevlar jib. Built from the same fabric as our AP Kevlar jib, the BIG Boy is designed for those T-10 sailors who sail primarily in light lumpy conditions where developing even more punch is a concern. Since the Big Boy has a fuller entry than many T -10 jibs available today not only is it easier to steer in those critical (shifty, light and/or lumpy) conditions it also provides for more forgiving tuning as it can handle a tighter rig/less headstay sag. Know how sometimes the breeze dies right at the wrong time and we're often caught with the rig a bit tighter than we'd like? The Big Boy is that jib that will help handle those situations and still sail fast!!

NEW! BOS SPEED JIB
Flatter crosscut design ideal when the wind is higher than the waves.

The BOS SPEED features a crosscut design built out of Flex 16 Aramid. It is a flatter cut with very straight exits, which helps maintain an open slot. The BOS SPEED jib is used in a building breeze when the wind is more than the size of the waves. A great light air flat-water sail!

Jibs include:

  • Window
  • Telltales
  • Sail Bag

NEW! BOS WAVE JIB
A more powerful jib with a rounder entry and the fullness carried well aft.

The BOS WAVE Jib also features a crosscut design built out of Flex 13 for the body sections and Flex 16 Aramid in the head and foot sections. This jib has a rounder entry and carries the draft further aft. We increased the fullness in the lower sections to help power thru chop. We recommend this jib for lumpy conditions.

Jibs include:

  • Window
  • Telltales
  • Sail Bag

DW-2 RUNNER SPINNAKER

The DW-2 is a very fast and forgiving spinnaker to fly.  The sail has large shoulders for more projected area with increased elipcity on the leeches and a flatter upper section.  We recommend this sail in breezes greater than 10 knots.

The DW-2 is optimized for the more popular winward/leeward courses so often sailed today. Shaped well for broad reaching and running with a relatively flatter head for more projected shoulders, and a deep powerful lower section. It loves to sail deep and fast!

Please note the panel layout for both spinnakers. It is broken up into 4 different horizontal bands which allow up to four different color selections.

Available out of .75 ounce Nylon or AirX fabric.
