JOHNSON 18 CROSSCUT DACRON MAINSAIL

  • The Johnson 18 CrossCut Dacron Mainsail is built of 3.8 ounce Superfirm/Duroperm. The radial head and radial clew construction help to not only maintain the necessarily flatter shape down low, but also increase the durability.

  • This sail is relatively full and powerful in the upper sections which helps the boat accelerate well in light to medium winds and develop higher pointing capabilities in a breeze.

  • The CrossCut Dacron Mainsail matches the mast bend perfectly when the rig is tuned per North tuning guide.

  • Mainsails include: battens, sail numbers, insignia, vision window and sail bag.

JOHNSON 18 RADIAL DACRON JIB

  • The Johnson 18 Radial Dacron Jib is built out of 180 HTP sq. fabric.

  • A full powerful entry makes this sail an easy sail to steer and helps provide power for sailing in light to medium winds.

  • A flatter exit opens the slot between the main and jib and this decreases the sail's tendency to backwind. The construction not only helps to maintain the shape in a breeze, but also makes the sail extremely durable.

  • Jibs include: vision window, and sail bag.
