E SCOW AP
FULL-BATTEN MAINSAIL
A powerful shape with a straight leech and the perfect amount of twist in all conditions is what has made the E Scow AP Full Batten Mainsail synonymous with winning. To achieve this great shape, we construct the sail with a radial clew section of varying weights of material and a large radial head panel patch along with the highest quality Contender Dacron we can buy. This ensures high performance, maximum life span and a user friendly aspect with regards to trimming and tuning that is unparalleled.
Features a full length top batten and longer battens on the upper middle, lower middle and bottom of the sail. The new batten configuration dramatically improves the shape control of the top of the sail, as well improving durability.

E SCOW LIGHT-MEDIUM
MYLAR JIB
The North E Scow Light-Medium Jib is a bi-radial design featuring a more powerful shape with just the right amount of draft forward which allows for much more forgiveness when trimming.
The bi-radial panel layout insures minimum weight and maximum strength by allowing for lighter, more responsive material to be used in the luff area, and a stronger material to be used in the leech area keeping the leech straight and strong which maintains shape through a wide range of wind conditions.
The North E Scow Light-Medium Jib is constructed of mylar laminated material to insure minimum stretch and maximum durability.
The North E Scow Light-Medium Jib is ideal for light to medium conditions and specifically designed for inland lake sailing.
Light-Medium Jib includes:
- RBS tapered battens
- Ultra-lite telltales
- Enhanced vision window
- Waterproof personalized sail bag
- ILYA measurement number
- Spectra leech cord
- Class royalties

E SCOW MEDIUM-HEAVY MYLAR JIB
The Medium-Heavy Jib is designed flatter with more draft forward for the ultimate in big breeze performance. Highly durable Mylar sail material is the cloth of choice to ensure durability and speed.
The Medium-Heavy Jib has a super straight exit. This keeps the slot open, which keeps the main from back winding. This in turn allows the jib track to be higher. The set up is fast in heavy air. Use the E Scow Medium-Heavy Jib when the wind is up, especially when the water is flat.
This sail is constructed of a Mylar laminated material to insure maximum strength and a maximum life span.
Medium-Heavy Jib includes:
- RBS tapered battens
- Ultra-lite telltales
- Enhanced vision window

"Winning the 1st race of a recent E Nationals was a
real "kick"! Although we've never won a race like
this before and haven't placed well on the regatta circuit,
we felt that we've always had the boat speed to win. We attribute
this to our North Sails... so simple and easy to trim with
perfect
shape for all conditions. Andy, Buddy and the rest of the North Sails team have
been absolutely
invaluable in helping "Big Bad Wolf" go fast! Good start, smart tactics,
GO FAST and have the fun...THANK YOU NORTH SAILS." -- Frank Davenport |
